What Is Evidence That Atlantis Real Reality Historical Kingdom Plato’s Critias Timaeus History Timeline Age Correction Historian Julius Africanus Flood Greek Old Kings Legend Ogyges Chronology Theseus Erechtheus Erysichthon Cecrops Athens Naval Military Power

In his dialogues with Critias and Timaeus, Plato talked about supposedly “many floods” which had devastated the lowland cities of Greece in more ancient times, their information from the egyptian priests of Sais, so how would those egyptian priests have known better than the ancient Greeks themsevles?  Among those “many floods,” Plato failed to mention Flood of Ogyges, so one must ask why did he ignore that flood which was said to have consumed much of Greece?

Julius Africanus later wrote that the Flood of Ogyges had been at the time of Moses and the Exodus of the Jews out of Egypt, that was circa 1450 b.c. (‘though Africanus mistakenly pegged the Exodus at 1796 b.c), and since Plato wrote that the greek kings Erechtheus, Cecrops, Erysichthon, and Theseus lived in the timeframe that Atlantis (and much of Greece) went under, those kings known to have lived circa 1300 b.c., then why did Plato not click that the Flood of Ogyges was the same flood as of Atlantis?  We will never know, but it is certainly strange.

Plato wrote that the Athenians and Atlanteans to the west battled with bronze age weaponry in trireme ships, absolutely in conformity with the 1500 b.c. date, but impossible with his greatly exaggerated date of 9600 b.c. inspired by the priests of Sais, the Egyptians who are known to have concocted outlandish timelines and distortions of real history.  Because of that crazy date, and that Atlantis is thought to have needed be a great big (now submerged) island somewhere in the Atlantic, mainstream scientists and historians dismiss the whole thing as myth.

Yet the legendary empire of Atlantis, using Plato’s own word for it “nesos,” was a peninsula, just as the Peloponnesos of Greece is a peninsula, the homeland of Atlantis having been the Iberian peninsula (named after Eber) which now is known as Spain and Portugal.  Plato wrote that the empire extended much inside Gibraltar as far as Libya and Italy, clearly a coastline empire, and outside Gibraltar as well, so those cities went under when the Ice Age ended and according to the biblical timeline, read much more here http://genesisveracityfoundation.com, the science of the future, old school man.
