Old Age Death Bed Born Again Christian Experiences Desperate Jail House Prison Conversions Christianity Bible Acceptance Jesus Christ Old New Testament Prophecied Messiah Call Name Lord Saved Savior Scriptures Delay Why Wait Today Day Salvation

Imagine that you are on your deathbed, awaiting your eternity, having heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ all your life yet having rejected him to that point, then don’t you think the fear of hell, even if you weren’t sure it exists, would cause you to call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved just in case to be safe?

And think if you were confined in prison facing a very long sentence for your many dastardly deeds, and then all the dangers of prison life, your guilt for what you’d done weighing heavily on your heart all the ‘while, don’t you suppose that you might seek out forgiveness from your creator God who promises according to the Word to then love you and abide with you his adopted child for all of eternity?

These scenarios play out everyday, people pushed to the edge forcing them to consider the big picture, wondering about their eternal destinies when the chips are urgently on the table, so now why wait?  If you know you would call on Jesus Christ in these situations, then why put it off ’til then?  You can be saved now to live the rest of this life on earth and into eternity as an adopted child of God and therewith all the privileges spelled out in the Bible.

Why wait?  People wait because they think they’re bulletproof or good enough to get into heaven on their own, but the Bible says no person is guaranteed tomorrow nor can work his/her way into heaven, so the time is now through Jesus Christ, “call (with repentent heart) on the name of the Lord and you shall be saved.”  And just in case you have doubts about the Bible, particularly the book of Genesis, so that you are not inclined to believe the scriptures, see now http://genesisveracityfoundation.com, the science of the future, old school man.
