Through my many years of research and writing to demonstrate the veracity of the book of Genesis, what’s really striking is the great number of renowned scientists and writers of alternative archaeaology who have danced around the edges of the truth of biblical history, their fields of expertise having been great sources of information for the compilation of work at http://genesisveracityfoundation.com, the science of the future, old school man, what the darwinists hate to see damaging their model.
Graham Hancock in his great book Underworld notes the many ruins of cities now found submerged on the continental shelf in many parts of the world, yet he apparently still adheres to the darwinian timeline that the Ice Age ended circa 10000 b.c., of course thereby creating a gap of over 7,000 years between that time and later when megalithic stone building is known to have actually begun; Hancock’s stiff-necked stubborness belying his “open mindedness” sufficient to blind him to the truth of the Bible.
I don’t know if Charles Hapgood (now deceased) was a Christian, he of Maps of the Ancient Sea Kings fame, but had he known that the riddle of the Ice Age maps drawn with fantastic resolution of longitude, impossible without very accurate time measure, would be resolved by the method explained here http://iceagecivilizations.com/articles/article02.htm, one can only hope that he would have seen that indeed the far reaches of the world were navigated within only a few centuries after Noah’s Flood, the Bible ringing true, his fine work comporting with real history.
And deceased Barry Fell’s work concerning ancient epigraphy, evidence of “old world” ancient writing scripts etched in stone in the Americas and islands of the Pacific, dovetails very nicely with the pioneering Hapgood’s global navigation proof, so I wonder if those two ever got together to compare notes, great thinkers and trailblazers who have helped uncover the truth about humankind’s ancient history, unknown to me if they ever put it all into biblical context, only they and the Lord know now for sure.
Perhaps my alltime favorite alternative archaeology writer, David Hatcher Childress, who even sold by second book Ice Age Civilizations for a time, still ‘though seems to embrace the New Age notion that the ancients were building megalithic cities way back at 10000 b.c., with Hancock stubbornly insisting that mainstream archaeologists are wrong in rightly maintaining that great stone cities (many of the ruins of them now on the shallow seafloor which mainstream archaeologists predictably don’t want to talk about) were begun to be built circa 2500 b.c. We can only hope that they all will come to their senses, the biblical logic staring them in the face.
Yet most consterning of all is the nearly across-the-board silence from christian pastors, preachers, and evangelists, who now have access to all this information, but continue by-and-large meekly to sit by while the darwinian evolution versus young earth creationism battle continues to rage, those indifferently silent pulpits clearly manifesting sin by omission, omitting the preaching for global dissemination of archaeological and scientific information demonstrating the veracity of the Genesis account. So help for world evangelism by insisting that your pastor begin to study and preach these issues, the science of the future, old school man.
