When the Phoenicians, Egyptians, and ionian Greeks, were the maritme powers of the eastern Mediterranean during the Bronze Age, at that time when the Phoenicians are now commonly acknowledged to have sailed the entire length and breadth of the Mediterranean, who then occupied the coastlines of the western Mediterranean and eastern Atlantic in the region of Gibraltar, both inside the Pillars of Hercules and out?

Ask a plain ol’ mainstream archaeologist this question, and then you’ll probably get a blank stare, yet when you realize the Sierra Morena and Nevada mountains of southern Spain were anciently the most important source of gold, silver, copper, and tin, the mines there dating back to circa 2000 b.c., thereby somebody was there on the ocean coastline to have handled the transhipments of those very valuable assets.

But who were they?  It’s commonly said that the region was first settled by mariners circa 1000 b.c., the Phoenicians, so who were working those mines, processing the material, and shipping it out, for the millennium preceding that time?  You may recall that Plato in his Critias and Timaeus wrote that the empire of Atlantis practiced metallurgy and sailed globally in trireme ships characteristic of the 2000 b.c. timeframe, the Atlantis mountains of mineral riches to the north of the Atlantean plain then obviousy those Sierra Morena and Nevada mountains of southern Spain.

Plato wrote that greater Atlantis stretched inside the Pillars of Hercules as far as the Tyrrhenian Sea (Italy) and Libya, and outside Gibraltar as well, so there is your answer; Atlantis was an Ice Age empire which succumbed to the sea circa 1500 b.c. when the Ice Age ended, when the Ice Age icepacks melted to have poured into the sea, raising sea level several hundred feet, consuming the legendary Atlantean port cities and those of the phoenicians (Yarmuta, old Sidon, and old Byblos), the ionian greeks (ruins off Abdera, Astakos, Elafonisos, and Psathoura), and the egyptians (submerged Menouthis and Heraklion).  Certainly learn much more here http://genesisveracityfoundation.com, and pass it on.
