Have you seen the artist’s rendition of Ardi, the supposedly four million year old fossil primate discovered in Ethiopia? The hands on her long arms go down below her knees, as she stands up straight, looking much like that sasquatch on the Slim Jim commercials, but four feet tall, said to be a human ancestor by the darwinists, yet I’ve already seen notices that the creature was an extinct great ape, found in a meter thick sedimentary rock layer in the desert between two lava flows, both dating to over four million years of age according to the argon isotope dating method used, the same method used which dated the 1980 Mount St. Helen’s lava flows at two million years, hardly an accurate reading.
Had the Mount St. Helen’s eruption not been witnessed, the two million year reading for the 1980 lava flows would have stood uncontested as scientific fact according to the darwinists, so therefore, what are we to think of those dates in Ethiopia? And what are we to believe of the meter thick sediments in which Ardi and her compadres were entombed? With a lava flow below the sedimentary layer, and one above too, what was the sedimentary regime between those two (almost contemporaneous) volcanic events?
The sediments include plant and animal debris from a certainly non desert environment, but what is a sediment? It’s layed down in water, like silt in your fishtank, interrupted by two volcanic events which spewed layers of lava across the previously deposited sediments, a world-shaking volcanic and aqueous cataclysm clearly indicated, in conformity with the biblical model, with catastrophism the rule in the geologic record.
