Mainstream archaeologists are surely scratching their heads over the abandonment of hundreds of bronze age settlements and cities in the 1500 B.C. timeframe, when the Exodus occurred, Egypt dried out (see the Ipuwer Papyrus), over three hundred bronze age towns were abandoned in Greece (because the streams near them had dried up), and over eight hundred towns and cities of the great Indus Valley Civilization, the ruins now in the Great Indian Desert, were abandoned because of severe (and never ending) drought, actually when the ice age ended, which the mainstream archaeogists can’t abide, so they continue having no explanation for this catastrophic climate change beginning in the 1500 B.C. timeframe, when also the sea level rose to consume millions of square miles of land, and many megalithic port cities whose ruins are now on the shallow seafloor, clearly of bronze age vintage.
