The north to south base-sides of the Great Pyramid of Giza are aligned to within 0.5% of true north, the line of the axis of the earth, not magnetic north, but true north, where the meridians of the earth (the longitude lines) merge where the polar axis figuratively emerges from the earth, precisely at the North Pole, located by measuring time, necessarily, which is why the precise alignment of the Great Pyramid is such a mystery to archaeologists who have yet to read the solution to the riddle in article #2 at, demonstrating that archaeologists are correct that the ancients did not have the instrumentation to accurately enough measure solar transit time for the accurate east-west distance measures (longitudes) required, as was achieved in the 1750’s with Harrison’s Chronometer (to measure nautical miles), but did measure the much slower rate of precession time, the rate of the slow wobble of the earth’s axis, 72 years/degree as spins and rotates like a gyroscope in space around the sun, which enabled them to practice geometry, meaning earth measure, by the predictably changing positions of the stars in the night skies because of the very slow wobble of the earth’s axis.

And see
