The megalithic hilltop fortresses built by the Ionians and Hellenes of ancient Greece at Mycenae, Tiryns, Pylos, Athens, and other locations, were constructed in the 1350 B.C. timeframe, as were the massive walls of Troy just across the Aegean, all constructed seemingly in concert, as if impending threats were all around those people who previously lived with modest defensive perimeter structures, but were then compelled to take serious defensive measures, during what is known as the greek Heroic Age, a frenzy of massive fortress building at that time.

The Acropolis (which means high city) at Athens was the site of only an ionian king’s palace, that of the legendary Erechtheus, circa 1350 B.C., which during his lifetime was fortified and enlarged to become a full-blown “mycenaean” hilltop fortress with megalithic walls around the perimeter of that high place, clearly to deter potential invaders.  This Erechtheus (father of Theseus) is one of the king’s mentioned in Plato’s account of Atlantis who lived in the timeframe that Atlantis went under, that’s right folks, so Plato’s date of 9600 B.C. for Atlantis is contradicted by his own well-known greek history, among a variety of other contradictions (see category Atlantis Revealed) now exposed from his Dialogues with Critias and Timaeus, the information initially from egyptian priests.

So when you consider that a huge sea level rise (from icepack melting) and catastrophic rainfall reduction in the middle latitudes accompanied the end of the Ice Age, the frantic defensive building at the time Perseus, Erechtheus, Laomedon, Ilus, and Proteus makes sense, they had lost much land to the sea, as had the Atlanteans, so they were making the best of a bad situation, the other nations around the Mediterranean and in other parts of the world too, when Greece all but went dry, compared to what it had been according to Plato’s story born out by archaeo-botanical remains and bronze age settlements now beside long ago dried up streams, hundreds of them, which flourished during the Ice Age, really the “bronze age” too, see http://genesisveracityfoundation.com.

With poll numbers showing the vast majority of Americans, all but the 20% or so who call themselves liberals, either viewing the Tea Party movement with favor or at least with a neutral view, and with Sarah Palin the darling and defacto leader of that movement, it’s only a matter of time before Rush Limbaugh will see fit to endorse Palin’s candidacy for the presidency on the Republican ticket, which will signal to the ditto heads that Rush thinks Palin can handle the job, with Tea Party principles, all really what Mr. Limbaugh has been espousing for over twenty years:  secure borders, a strong currency, drill here drill now, private enterprise, school choice, and loyal adherence to the Constitution, all now being callously eschewed by Team Obama, soon to be out the White House door after one term however, swept out by the populist movement led by Sarah Palin.

Rush raves (in a positive way) about Mrs. Palin’s book, Going Rogue, strongly supporting her policy positions, but is keeping his endorsement-powder dry to this point with the election still three years away, however, rest assured that with Palin’s stock climbing all the time, Rush will begin to at least hint that Palin is the answer for the nation, the antedote to Barack Obama’s reckless and destructive policy initiatives which even Democrats are rejecting in large numbers, many even now taking a long hard look at Sarah Palin, who would be our great nation’s first female president, certainly another milestone for the Republicans, and a black-eye for the Democrats, because they had their chance with Hillary Clinton, rejected for the black liberation marxist, who is now “bringing the chickens home to roost.”

Black Sea experts such as William Ryan of Columbia and russian Valery Shmuratko of Mechnikov Odessa National University know that the Black Sea basin, which was a huge inland lake during the Ice Age, was flooded by ocean water from the Aegean of the world ocean which was rising when the Ice Age was ending, up the river valley which now is the straits of Dardanelles (namesake Dardanus) and the Bosporus (meaning fish passage), with the Sea of Marmaras in between, once a lake too, in the middle of the now isthmus called the Hellespont, the ocean water having entered the Black Sea basin at a rate sufficient to have left intact the old ice age shoreline (called the cimmerian shoreline) while the sea level rose rapidly, but how rapidly was it?

The Ivy League’s professor William Ryan has famously hypothesized that the sea level, already having slowly risen with the end of the Ice Age thousands of years before, broke through the Hellespont circa 6000 B.C. in a huge flood, like fifty Niagra Falls flowing in, which filled the basin within a year, but Shmuratko in the Ukraine rightly points out that the geology and sedimentation of and in the Borporus and Dardanelles (and Marmaras) indicate a slower entrance of the seawater, yet fast enough to have allowed the ancient and freshwater Black Sea lake shoreline, the Cimmerian shoreline (so dubbed by russian geologists), to remain in a pristine condition, now from 90 to 150 meters below the surface, the difference because of differential block step faulting around the rim of the Black Sea basin because of all the weight of the new water from the risen ocean pushing down which had entered the Black Sea basin.

Most mainstream scientists say the Ice Age ended over thousands of years, beginning circa 12000 B.C., so considering it’s established that the sea level rose up a river valley to have flowed into the Black Sea basin, that slow rise would have caused the old beach geomorphology of the black sea lake shoreline to have been covered by sediments from the slightly risen shoreline, but the beaches of the cimmerian shoreline are exposed and pristine on the Black Sea floor, proving that is was a flood at a rate closer to Ryan’s interpretation, but up the river valley, so the end of the Ice Age sea level rise must have been faster than popularly advertised, in total having taken about a century, about the last half of that having been the actual Black Sea infilling.

Only the biblical model explains the phenomenon of the Black Sea infilling, within about fifty years, when the Ice Age was ending because the ocean had cooled such that the prolific cloudcover for the Ice Age was no more, so the arctic regions became bitterly cold in winter when the continental icepacks melted rapidly in much hotter summers which resulted from the great reduction of cloudcover worldwide, actually circa 1500 B.C., surely confirmed by that famous nautical archaeologist Robert Ballard says there are bronze age ruins down there on the cimmerian shoreline, which he has photographed, the biblical model making sense of his statement.

Final note:  I recently read that Pliny wrote that the River Rhode flowed from the Euxine Sea (Black Sea basin) in archaic times, that’s from the Black Sea, into the Aegean.  The Rhode was named after Rhodan, of the Rhodanim of Genesis 10 in the Bible.

Even the recalcitrant darwinists know that the bible provides a wealth of information about the ancient history of the Middle East, knowing full well that most of the great archaeological discoveries in those desert sands were because of the geographic information gleaned from holy writ, as believers expect, however, much to the chagrin of the bible bashers who wince with each of the continuing archaeological confirmations of biblical history, such as recently, that stones of the canaanite city of king Jebus were used for the building of the city of David during the constitution of ancient Jerusalem and the nation of Israel, the apple of God’s eye.

Because of the biblical roadmap in Genesis, the ruins of the ziggarauts of Mesopotamia (Ur of the Chaldees and Elam) were discovered almost two centuries ago, proving the bible therefore certainly is good history back to at least 2000 B.C., back to the time that the land of Canaan (a grandson of Noah) was flourishing, and Javan (Iawan/Ionians) and Elisha (Elysians) were settling what now is called Greece, along with Peleg (Pelasgians), and Iberia (Spain) was being settled by Eber, and Tarshish, as well as Sidon/Posidon (a grandson of Ham/Chronus) and his son Atlas (according to Plato), all perfectly matching the bible, but deemed bad history for obviously no good reason by the darwinists who don’t want to get anywhere near Noah and that story, but the nations were certainly named after his progeny, very clear for all to see, with such also as Kush, Rama, and Tiras, namesakes also of great ancient nations.

The earliest speakers of languages in the old Black Sea basin of western Asia during the Ice Age, when the Black Sea was a huge lake before connected to the world ocean, were tribes actually chronicled in Genesis 10 in the bible, the Table of Nations, the tribes of Gomer, Aram, Ashkenaz, and Tiras, those names known to us today as Cimmer/Crimea (Cimmerians), Armenia, Askaniya, and Thrace, from their own ancient tongues, the most ancient place names for the regions around the Black Sea, large portions of those ancient tribal regions now submerged since the end of the Ice Age when the world ocean rose to pour into the Black Sea, connecting it to the Aegean through the straits of Dardanelles and Bosporus.

The legendary ruler Dardan was an ancient Thracian king, known to the Greeks as Dardanus, who lived circa 1400 B.C., when the Ice Age was ending, the namesake of the strait which has connected the Black Sea to the world ocean since his time, that’s why they named it after him, just as the tribal regions around the Black Sea were named after real people too, biblical figures, grandsons of Noah, who lived during the Ice Age, which began because the ocean was warmer at the close of Noah’s Flood, heated by the fountains of the deep for the required evaporation for prodigious cloud formation, that’s hydrology 101.

Renowned nautical archaeologist Robert Ballard famously located submerged ruins which he describes as bronze age on the old paleoshoreline of the Black Sea off Sinope, 155 meters down, from Ice Age times, that shoreline from the time when the Black Sea was a great inland lake, the shoreline called by russian scientists the Cimmerian Shoreline (that shoreline differentially block-faulted down when the ocean entered the basin), seemingly an acknowledgement that the Cimmerians were some of the first people there, during the Ice Age, and Cimmerians is a derivation from Gomerians, google it to confirm the etymology, as the others.

Please presume for a moment that the book of Genesis rendering of ancient history is fully accurate, as claimed by Jesus Christ himself, so then, what does that young earth creationist’s global flood model predict which might be born out demonstrably in nature and archaeology, and are there evidences which only that biblical model can explain?  In other words, are there unresovled engimas of science because of the commonly accepted mainstream scientific assumptions which however are nicely accommodated with the inerrant biblical assumptions?  The answer is a resounding yes, so read on.

The fountains of the deep noted in the book of Genesis were the main source of the water for Noah’s Flood, water from within the earth, and so, quite warm when extruded, and since only a warmer ocean could have been the engine (by more evaporation off it) for the much greater cloudcover and precipitation of the Ice Age, the biblical model provides a clear reckoning of how that Ice Age occurred, which still baffles the adherents of the mainstream model who cluelessly (except for the biblical model) wonder why the Ice Age occurred.

Since the bible indicates Noah’s Flood destroyed the pre-flood world circa 2350 B.C. (with the Ice Age after that), predictably there should be bronze age stone ruins on the shallow seafloor submerged since the end of the Ice Age, certainly the case, with hundreds of sites of submerged ruins reported in many regions of the world (see category Submerged Ancient Ruins), inundated by the sea circa 1500 B.C., conforming with ancient legends such as in the indian Rig Veda, that sea level rise with the end of the Ice Age.

The Table of Nations (Genesis 10) is a rather lengthy accounting of the clans of Noah’s offspring which repopulated the earth in the aftermath of the Noah’s Flood during the Ice Age, so are those names to be found within known ancient etymologies as expected, and do ancient ancestor-worship mythologies dovetail beautifully with the people chronicled in the Table of Nations?  Yes indeed, for instance in the line of Ham, Canaan’s son Sidon, who founded Sidon on the shores of the eastern Mediterranean during the Ice Age, was Posidon, father Sidon, of ancient greek lore, who helped found Atlantis during the Ice Age at the other end of the Mediterranean, along with Tarshish, a grandson of Noah’s son Japheth.

Despite that the bible doesn’t mention the sons of Sidon who helped him settle at various locations along the Mediterranean coastline during the Ice Age, the greek historian Plato does however, one of them, Atlas, the map man, who measured and charted the earth by its wobble rate (see article #2 at http://IceAgeCivilizations.com), confirmed by the ancient name of the Atlas mountains, and as Plato wrote, the namesake of the Atlantic too, an ancient pioneer of the sea, whose kingdom is now known to the Mexicans across the Atlantic as Atlan, or Aztlan, what in reality was ice age Atlantis.

Mainstream scientists must be realizing that the coastlines and quite far inland of the arctic regions were free of snow and ice accumulations during the Ice Age, with the discovery of an ice age settlement in the Torne river valley on the border of Sweden and Finland, and ancient settlements where open water fishing, and onshore hunting and fruit gathering were practiced on the northern coast of Greenland, of the “Independence I Culture,” having flourished on a wave beaten beach, when the Arctic Ocean was still yet mostly free of icepacks, probably circa 1400 B.C., before the post Ice Age cold, due to then greatly diminishing cloudcover, had fully set in, to freeze the thousands of wooly elephants in many parts of the Arctic which had been drowned and entombed in the floodwater and mud when the continental ice sheets melted to pour into the sea.

This is just hydrology 101, that a paradoxically warmer ocean must have been the engine for the Ice Age, to have produced all that cloudcover for the prodigious snowfalls and rainfalls in the various regions of the earth, which all ended when the ocean had cooled to about today’s temperatures, the Ice Age having lasted  just short of a thousand years, begun in the aftermath of Noah’s Flood, when the world ocean was significanntly warmer because of heating by the “fountains of the deep,” where today are the rift zones in the oceanic crust, where much new oceanic crust was produced during the runaway plate tectonics of Noah’s flood year, explained nicely at http://GlobalFlood.org, where also you’ll learn that diamonds and oil can be carbon 14 dated, surely indicating a young earth.

Because mainstream scientists are finally wrapping their heads around the fact that the Ice Age coastlines in the Arctic were ice free and lush with vegetation, some more adventurous are saying those coastlines, and so, those landmasses must have been farther south during the Ice Age, the Crustal Displacement Theory, for that lush plant growth along the coastlines, but such geologic sophistry is not necessitated as you realize that when the ocean was warmer, there was much more dense worldwide cloudcover for the precipitation for the Ice Age, when the arctic was warmer because of that cloudcover. 

The Maps of the Ancient Sea Kings, catalogued and analyzed by Charles Hapgood, medieval maps which are compilations of ancient source maps, amazingly show Antarctica when it was ice free, showing the mountain ranges there which are now beneath thousands of feet of snow and ice, so impossible to imagine without the biblical scenario, was rationalized first with this Crustal Displacement Theory, schemed by Charles Hapgood, and endorsed for further investigation by none other than Albert Einstein, suggesting that the continents near the poles were of greatly differing configurations during the Ice Age, a tough pill to swallow geologically, clearly a desperate theory to try to explain away or remain igorant of the clear hydrological necessity for an Ice Age, a warmer ocean for the evaporation to have formed that global cloudcover which allowed northern Greenland to be not such a bad place to live, where now it’s all deeply frozen almost all the time.

While clearing an open pit mining site for a magnetite (iron ore) extraction operation in the Torne river valley of the border region of Finland and Sweden, workers there discovered the remains of an ancient settlement which dated by carbon 14 back to Ice Age times, however, that region was supposedly covered by the vast polar icepack of the Ice Age, so what do mainstream scientists have all wrong about this?  What are they clearly missing?

Accolytes of the darwinian timeline either don’t realize or admit that only a warmer ocean could have been the cause for the Ice Age, to have produced all that cloudcover, so the nearby Baltic Sea (into which the Torne flows), ‘though much lower then, was warmer than today, so that river valley just to the north, in Tornedalen, was lush and temperate, with warmer winters and cooler summers because of the dense cloudcover of the Ice Age, really quite obvious to most.

On the far northern coast of Greenland, where now are only icebergs and barren tundra, with no vegetation but lichen in the summer, were discovered the remains of the “Independence I Culture,” also baffling to mainstream scientists because the shoreline geology there indicates that large waves once buffeted that coastline, now choked by polar ice year ’round, the Arctic Ocean was open back then, now mostly covered with polar ice, all because back during the single Ice Age, the world ocean was warmer, quite a bit warmer, heated from below by “the fountains of the deep” mentioned in the book of Genesis.

My research colleague and good friend, ex soviet scientist Sergei Golovin of http://scienceandapologetics.org, and myself are establishing that the Land of Uz, the homeland of Job in the bible, was today’s Uzbekistan, which means homeland of Uz, who was a son of Aram, a son of Shem, a son of Noah, as catalogued in Genesis 10.  And as Uz’s brothers Hul, Gather, and Mash, were anciently namesaked with today’s Hulistan territory on the west of the Caspian Sea, and the city of Gather, or Gathar, now known as Anau, the ruins of which are now in the Kara Kum desert near the southern shore of the Caspian, and the city of Mash, Mashabad, on the other side of the mountains in northern Iran, it’s pretty clear that the sons of Aram (namesake of Armernia to the southwest of the Caspian) did not have a presence in what would become the Holy Land, near which the Land of Uz is commonly considered to have been by biblical scholars, because the Jordan River is mentioned.

But the hard-working crimean Sergei Golovin and I are beginning to think that the Jordan was the Gorgan or Gurgenj river, now called the Amudarya, which flows down from the Tien Shan and Hindu Kush mountains of the western Himalayas, emptying into the the Caspian Sea from the east, across Uzbekistan, the biblical land of Uz and the legendary Job, known to the locals as Ayub, his name as well in the Koran, with the ancient Babylonians to the south having memorialized the plight and story of Job in the Ludlul Bel Nemeqi fragments which tell the same story as in the book of Job, but with Marduk playing the role of the creator God Elohim.

Job’s friend Elihu in the biblical account was a Buzzite, known to have inhabited the land at the headwaters of the rivers Tigris and Euphrates in southeastern Turkey, near the city of Nahor, and Bildad, a Shuhite, was of the clan of Shuah, who was a son of Keturah, whom Abraham had sent off to the east, far to the east, but the other two friends of Job, Zophar and Eliphaz, of the tribes of Namaath and Teman respectively, their original homelands probably having been in the Levant, however, with extensive bronze age trade as it was, when the Middle East and western Asia were green with much more rainfall (actually during the Ice Age), Sergei and I feel that with the linkages of ancient names to the geography and cities of the Caspian region, there must have been the land of Uz, his kingdom, his realm for sure, as the Canaanites at that time (circa 2000 B.C.) dominated the Levant from Egypt up to what today is Turkey.
