The best and most obvious proof of the veracity of the Genesis account is the geology which we see because of Noah’s Flood, with vast sedimentary layers of sand, clay, and limestone, stacked and grading into each other, and billions of creatures entombed therein, usually cemented by calcium carbonate from the water which covered Pangea as it rapidly broke apart, during the Flood year, when the mountains of today’s world rose as the waters were receding, so Noah’s Flood did not cover, say, the Himalayas, because they rose when the Flood was ending, as the water slid of the continents into the then-deepening ocean basins (see chapter 9 in the free ebook download of my first book, Old Earth? Why Not!)
And the distant stars need not be billions of years old, actually proven by the physics of the Big Bang Theory, according to general relativity and gravitional time dilation, such that light traveled much faster as the matter was rapidly expanded out during the first few days of the creation, so the stars are only thousands of years old (see chapter 17), and so it goes, science again corroborating the plain reading of Genesis, that which Jesus himself espoused, not a surprise, since he is the Word, not to contradict himself, which many Christians just can’t swallow, because they’ve been taught that the conveniently long ages for Darwinism is truth, blindly eschewing what’s clearly stated in the book of Genesis.
But even Darwin’s own term species is meaningless, because many different species can interbreed, what’s known as hybridization, so syngameons is the operative term in the world of biology for a much more analytic approach to determing the kinds of animals, the term kinds used in the Genesis account, once again showing that good science tracks that which is written in the foundational book of the Bible, Genesis, almost all of it written by eyewitnesses, proven with the analysis in article #13 at http://GenesisVeracity.com.
