Low Republican Voter Turnout Presidential Election 2008 for Weak Candidate John McCain Conservative Intellectuals Disowned Republican Nominee Crossover Voting in Primary Allowed Nomination of Liberal Republican McCain so Republicans Stayed Home Said Let Barack H. Obama Ruin Nation’s Economy Military Morale and National Defense so Constitutional Conservatives Can Arise in 2010 Strategy Dangerous for Country but Conservatives Fed Up with Lame Big Spending Republicans

The voter turnout for the 2008 presidential general election, which Obama “won” increased only 1% from the turnout in 2004, so it’s obvious that millions of Republicans didn’t bother going to the polls to vote for McCain, rebelling against the fact that the crossover voting allowed in primaries is the only reason McCain got the nomination, and not liking his weak constitutional conservative credentials, these Republicans said “ok then, we’ll let Obama be elected, so he can work his liberal magic on the economy and the military, and then, we’ll come back hard in 2010 to retake the Congress.”  The economy will still be in shambles two years from now, and the electorate will take it out on the Democrats in the 2010 elections, provided that the Republicans can put some common sense conservative candidates in the congressional races.  Big government never works, it oppresses and inhibits the creativity of entrepreneurs, and the Republicans who stayed home for the 2008 election know it, so this is the real reason Obama “won,” in addition to his ACORN voter fraud and his illegal overseas campaign fundraising.
