Barack Obama is chapped that John McCain is using his sacred “change” mantra in his speeches, saying today that the Republicans must think people are stupid to believe McCain is an agent of change, however, Barack Obama opposes offshore drilling, school choice, and the serious use of the presidential veto pen to eliminate unnecessary spending, which is the kind of change the vast majority of Americans want, so Obama’s kind of change is turning out to be unpopular; bigger and more intrusive government, socialized medicine, even more regulation on business, and higher taxes on small sole proprietorship businesses, and all businesses, while the change advocated by McCain and Palin is what the people want.
So Obama can call the majority of Americans stupid if he wants, but that doesn’t seem like a very good idea to me, because everybody already knows he said in San Francisco that blue collar Americans in the heartland cling to their guns and religion like ignorant serfs, so his “must think they’re stupid” line today only adds much fuel to the fire. Whoever came up with that line ought to be fired, or maybe, Obama came up with that line himself; probably so.
