The pro life Republican presidential candidates Romney and Huckabee claim to be willing and able to do more against abortion than would President Giuliani, when in fact, because Rudy pledges to appoint strict constructionist Supreme Court Justices, and because Supreme Court nominations are practically all a president can do, pro or con, on the abortion issue, the pro life candidates’ claim that things would be different on abortion compared to under President Rudy is completely bogus, so vote for the Republican whom the Democrats absolutey do not want to face in the general election, Rudy Giuliani.
Except to lead the charge for a constitutional amendment on abortion, which is highly unlikely, all a president can do to affect the abortion issue is through his/her Supreme Court Justice appointments, and with Rudy’s, the electorate would be allowed to decide the abortion issue for themselves, on a state-by-state basis, so in this sense too, Rudy is pro choice, but in a good way, appealing to the pro life voters who want to see the Republican presidential nominee win the presidential general election over Hillary and the Democrats.
