Pastor of the Church of the Woodlands, Kerry Shook, has a new book out called One Month to Live, which encourages people to live as they would if they knew that they had one month to live. Can you imagine if we all lived like that, the mending of relationships, the good deeds which would be done, and the generally more selfless attitude people would have toward others?
And when you consider that nobody knows when their last day on earth will be, why not live like this all the time? It is as God would have us behave, so why not? It’s sometimes hard to do, with our selfish human nature and all, but we know it’s right, so why not? Shook’s book will challenge you to do so.
