My good friend, Sergei Golovin of ScienceAndApologetics.org, located in Crimea on the Black Sea, has assisted me in putting together the model and timeline which fits the evidence available, and which, little doubt, will be further confirmed as new evidence rolls in.
As Sergei (and his daughter Zhenya) and my research shows, the Russians and the Greeks knew that the Old Black Sea, which was an inland lake during the Ice Age, was infilled by the then rising ocean, during the time of the ancient Greek King Dardanus (Dardan), because of the end of the Ice Age, the sea rose up the river valley, now the Dardanelles and Bosporus Strait, to pour into the Black Sea, to raise it’s level by about 100 meters, because the world ocean rose at a rate of about a meter per year, creeping up that Ice Age river, now the Dardanelles and Bosporus, which flowed from the Old Black Sea (big lake) down to the Aegean.
Sergei is doing some great work in Crimea (Cimmeria, Gimmera, Gomera, Gomer, son of Japheth), so check out his website, and the soon to be released documentary which we helped produce, “Dark Secrets of the Black Sea.”
This material will be covered in depth (no pun intended) in my upcoming book release Dancing from Genesis, as well as, in the soon to be released documentary entitled Dark Secrets of the Black Sea, in which Sergei and myself, and luminaries such as William Ryan (Columbia University) and Petko Dimitrov (top Black Sea expert from Bulgaria), tell the story of the Black Sea, how, when, and why, it infilled when the Ice Age ended.
